Covid-19 Guidelines

We are excited to welcome you to NEST!
We are delighted to have people experience the fun, wonder, excitement and play of NEST in person. NEST takes seriously the precautions needed to make time on at NEST is as low risk as possible for all involved. We are asking everyone who comes to NEST to please check in with yourself before you come about whether you can commit to the following practices and whether you are clear to take the low – but not absent – risk inherent in such a visit.

GENERAL

  • Before arriving, please also be familiar with state and federal guidance about best practices during the COVID-19 pandemic. (Please see below for links to further information.)
  • If you become sick while attending NEST, we ask that you self quarantine and/or leave the hotel.
  • We strongly encourage individual daily self-monitoring while on site, daily testing, and clear communication to Lee or Amanda for any developments related to COVID, wearing masks in public spaces, and practicing good hygiene at all times.
  • Guests are encouraged to keep a window cracked open (if temperatures allow) as much as is comfortable, in order to maximize ventilation. There are no guarantees as to what you may breathe in.

SELF-SCREENING

Please do not come to NEST if any of the following apply to you:

  • within the past 24 hours: have felt unwell or had symptoms such as a temperature of 100°F or higher, a cough or trouble breathing, muscle pain, or new loss of taste or smell
  • within the past 3 days: have had close contact with anyone diagnosed with or tested for COVID-19 (including traveling to or contact with anyone from areas where there is active widespread community transmission of COVID-19); are awaiting test results or have tested positive for COVID-19; or have been asked to self-isolate or quarantine by a doctor or a local public health official.

SOCIAL DISTANCING AND FACE COVERINGS

We ask everyone to be fully vaccinated to attend NEST, to test negative the day before and the day of NEST, and to continue to wear a face covering or mask, when in any of the NEST public spaces, to help prevent you from spreading COVID-19 to other people, or contacting Covid-19 yourself.

Guests are expected to comply with all current government regulations and guidelines for Covid protocols.

Please maintain records of contact information if you feel poorly or if you test positive for Covid-19 while at NEST.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation. And we hope you have a healthy and wonderful experience at NEST!

TL/DR: To come to NEST, be fully vaccinated, and test negative the day before the event. If you decide to wear a mask in public spaces, please wear your mask properly. Please respect people’s choice to wear a mask or not. Inform Lee or Amanda if you start feeling ill during the event/test positive, and quarantine/leave the event if you contract Covid-19.
