Welcome to NEST! We are happy that you’re considering joining us. Please be aware of the following, so that you have a good idea how we operate!
Diversity & Inclusion
NEST (and the world!) has come a long way since the first event, and as we grow, we are pleased to welcome ticklers and ‘lees from all over the world, all sorts of backgrounds, all sorts of experiences. We celebrate multiple approaches and points of view. We welcome using pronouns/names to help you identify yourself, we welcome you wearing the outfits you’re most comfortable in, keeping appropriately covered in public areas, thank you. We believe in the dignity and intrinsic worth of every human being. We welcome people of all abilities and disabilities, experiences, races, ethnicities, socio-economic backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, non-religious and religious alike. We keep working to create safe and inclusive environments that celebrate diversity and foster positive relationship.
While we want you to be yourself, It’s important to know that there are some things we do not stand for nor tolerate, including sexism, racism, ageism, misogyny, misandry, nazis, hate speech, intolerance toward your fellow attendees, bullying, unwanted sexual acts, general creepiness.
Boundaries
We advocate setting boundaries for yourself to teach other people how they can treat you, and how they cannot. Setting boundaries reflects your right to say no to those things which aren’t right for you. You have a right to say no, and to have that no respected.
We advocate open and true communication with people you meet, especially if there are possibilities to play and to put yourself in vulnerable positions with others.
Both tops and bottoms are able to say no to any requests for play, and we request that that kind of response be equally met with polite and considerate acceptance.
We advocate honesty and openness, We advocate socializing over jumping into play, although recognize that spontaneous play can be hot. We advocate
We advocate making friends with people you have the opportunity to meet, as some of the friendships made possible by NEST have spawned decades.
Thank you for attending NEST, respecting our rules, having the best time you possibly can, and ensuring your fellow attendees are also delighted by your attendance.
