Registration

Registration for NEST 2025 is closed

Unfortunately after evaluating our headcount of over 200 attendees and our completely booked hotel, we have to keep registrations closed. We do have a waitlist, which you can join by emailing us via this link. If you’ve already emailed, you are already on the list. As cancellations occur, we’ll be reaching out to the waitlist in order to ask about registrations.

We will be reaching out to the waitlist up until April 25th, after attendance will be locked.

Thank you to everyone who showed such fervent interest in NEST this year! We’ll be taking lessons from this process so that next year we can offer an even better experience.

We use Stripe as our payment gateway, so you will be redirected to Stripe once you begin the checkout process.

The NEST Scholarship Program

After my first year at NEST, my life was changed forever. I found a community of people who understood me at a core level and who would become my friends and family for life. I wanted to attend for almost a decade before my first time. In some instances, work schedules or life circumstances had gotten in the way. Other years, it was the financial burden that I was not able to overcome. Travel, hotels, food, and taking time off work can all be monetary factors that can become challenges for anyone to attend NEST.

This year, instead of early bird pricing, we are introducing the NEST Scholarship Program. If the cost of the ticket for NEST is an obstacle for you to attend this year, you can apply for a scholarship by filling out the linked Google form. Your application will be reviewed by someone on staff but will remain confidential. If accepted, you will receive up to 66% off the cost of the ticket.

There’s no shame in asking for help if you need it, and your privacy will be respected. Likewise, if you are awarded a scholarship, please be humble and don’t brag or flaunt it. This program is intended to help those who need a little financial assistance to make it to NEST this year.

Pay It Forward Donations

On the opposite end; we have heard from a few people that they would love the opportunity to financially support NEST in additional ways, but accepting random donations has never been a clean process. Therefore we are introducing a simple add-on to your order, where you can add $10 increments to your order to fill the NEST coffers.

This is a completely optional donation. It is never expected, nor is it required in any way, shape, or form.

What does NEST use its funds for?

The main costs break down to:

  • Hotel contracts
  • Food
  • Operation Hammond
  • Water & Snacks
  • New to 2025 – the Scholarship Program

NEST has always been able to stay afloat for these via its main registration, and we don’t foresee that changing. Extra money, however, would allow us to expand some things:

  • Larger hotel contracts (hotels with more meeting space, complete hotel buyout contracts)
  • Additional catering
  • Upgrades to our play equipment
  • Possibly lower attendance cost all around

Money made from NEST has never, is never, and will never, be used for personal purchases. Every purchase made with NEST funds is in some way related to and benefiting the event.

Ticket Cancellations & Transfers

If you wish to cancel your ticket for any reason, please email us at this link requesting your cancellation.

  • You have until the end of day on April 13th to cancel your ticket for a full refund.
  • From April 14th – end of day on April 25th, cancelling your ticket will get you a 50% refund.
  • After this, cancellations will get no refund.

Ticket Transfers

For 2025, we will not be allowing ticket transfers, since we have a waitlist instead. If you wish to “transfer”, please just cancel your ticket as described above, and we will handle waitlist registration.
